Shaun Lowther (born January 24, 1962) is a former
Canadian national soccer team member andNorth American Soccer League player. He is currently an executive of a youth soccer club inCalgary .Biography
Born in Newcastle,
England he moved toCanada as a child, Lowther played eleven seasons with the Vancouver Whitecaps - 1980 through 1991, the last year of the NASL. He then played for theVancouver 86ers of the Canadian Soccer League and was a member of the 1988/89 team that went 42 game losing streak. He was also a great young quarter-back for the Winnipeg Jr. Stampeders and actually got a scholarship for football not soccer.*1990 Hamilton Steelers
