Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute

The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute, founded in 1993, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare women for effective leadership and to promote leading conservative women. The Institute provides educational, networking, and mentoring opportunities for conservative women across the country, advancing ideas that are pro-America, pro-free-enterprise, pro-religion, and pro-family.

The Luce Policy Institute trains young conservative women to be effective activists on their college campuses and in their communities. The Institute helps college students and their conservative clubs host campus events featuring high-profile conservative women, such as Michelle Malkin, Bay Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Dr. Miriam Grossman, Star Parker and Amanda Carpenter. Regional activism seminars held by Luce Institute staff offer unique training opportunities for exceptional student leaders who want to make a bigger impact on their campus. CBLPI also offers hands-on journalism, communications, and leadership experience through its internship program.

The Institute's namesake is the late Clare Boothe Luce, who was a playwright, magazine editor, diplomat, and conservative Republican U.S. Representative from the state of Connecticut, as well as the wife of "Time" magazine publisher Henry Luce.

The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute works closely with leading conservative ladies to communicate to the next generation of America's leaders the ideals of the conservative movement. Among the women associated with the Institute include:

*Ann Coulter
*Christina Hoff Sommers
*Kellyanne Conway
*Michelle Malkin
*Star Parker
*Miriam Grossman, M.D.
*Amanda Carpenter
