Maurice was the third Lord Chancellor and Lord Keeper of England, as well as Bishop of London.

Life

He was Archdeacon of Rouen before being named Chancellor in about 1078. He died on September 26 1107Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 239] with his death being commemorated on September 26.
