Blitar is a city and also the capital of the regency of the same name on East Java, Indonesia, about 73 kilometers from Malang and 167 kilometers from Surabaya. The area longitude is between 111° 40' - 112° 09' East and its latitude is 8° 06' South. Kelud is only one active mountain located on the north of Blitar. Blitar has some temples from Majapahit kingdom, like Penataran and Simping. The city is known for being the location of first President of Indonesia Sukarno's grave, 5 kilometres from the city plaza.
