Mallare is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 km southwest of Genoa and about 15 km west of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,292 and an area of 32.6 km².^[1]

The municipality of Mallare contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Grenni, Eremita, Le Acque, Codevilla, Fucine, Montefreddo, and Olano.
