input ="Lethal Xcess" has been developed in approximately 12 months by two members of the
Atari ST demo crewX-Troll and published by Eclipse in 1991. The only available versions are forAmiga andAtari ST , both have been done by the original developers. "Lethal Xcess" is one of the classicshoot 'em up games released in the early 1990s. While it's a slightly above average shooter on the Amiga platform, it drives the weaker Atari ST hardware far beyond its limits. The technical specifications are awesome and it's probably one of the technically most impressive games for the Atari ST. Besides many other technical impressive features, like digital sound, sync-scrolling,overscan , full 2 player support, etc. all original copies of Lethal Xcess featureddual format , which allowed the Amiga and Atari versions to boot from the very same disk."Lethal Xcess" was coded by
Claus Frein and Heinz Rudolf. Originally it was planned to be an independent release, but in the end it became the sequel to "Wings of Death " and features music byJochen Hippel . Lethal Xcess has been the first commercial project of Claus Frein and Heinz Rudolf, although they had some offers before. Due to the disappointing sales, both coders quit the gaming industry and became ITconsultant s later."Credits"
