A
Department of Education (Northern Ireland) inspection in November1999 highlighted the happy, friendly atmosphere in the school, the excellent pupil behaviour, the bright and stimulating environment and the strong community spirit. It was noted that a particular feature of the school was the close links established with the local and wider community. The standard of teaching was found to be consistently good and often excellent and overall the school was regarded as providing very good quality education.References
