To celebrate two of (then) MyTravel's main tour operators (Spies and Ving) 50th anniversaries, a trip around the world was arranged. It was sold out the same day it was announced. On the 22nd of April 2006, an A330-300 took 407 danish and swedish passengers on a trip around the world in 21 days. The route was as follows:
Stockholm ,Sweden ;Copenhagen ,Denmark ;Hamilton ,Canada ;San Francisco ,USA ;Honolulu ,Hawaii ;Rarotonga ,Cook Islands ;Sydney ,Australia ;Sandakan ,Malaysia ;Ho Chi Minh City ,Vietnam ;Agra ,India ;Muscat ,Oman ;Cairo ,Egypt and back toCopenhagen andStockholm . This trip was a complete success, so much so, that it was repeated the following year. On the 18th of April 2007, a new group of scandinavians took off for another trip around the world in 21 days.
