Carisolo is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 30 km northwest of Trento. Carisolo borders the following municipalities: Vermiglio, Ossana, Pinzolo, Giustino, and Caderzone.
Carisolo is famous for it's knife sharpening industry or Moleta as they are locally called.The birthplace of Cristoforo Nella, Bernadino Nella and Antonio Beltrami all of whom emigrated to London and using their expertise and knowledge formed The Knife Sharpening Company UK.
