John C. J. Taylor

John C. J. Taylor

John C. J. Taylor is a musician, graphics designer, cartoonist and filmmaker from Australia. He was a founding member of Melbourne band Little Heroes in the early 1980s who achieved success in Australia with their single, "One Perfect Day".

As a filmmaker (Swinburne Film & Television School — 1985) John won an AFC scriptwriting award and an AFI award with his student film: "the huge adventures of Trevor, a Cat" (1986). He also won an AWGIE scriptwriting award (1992) and numerous ATOM awards for later projects.

Bands include: Soap (1968); Llama (1970–71); Uncle Bob's Band (1972–76); Phones (1977–78); Secret Police (1978–79); Little Heroes (1979–82).
