Ratschings ( _it. Racines; Archaic (1000 AD): "Rasine") is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 90 km north of the city of Trento and about 45 km north of the city of Bolzano, on the border with Austria. The municipality of Ratschings contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Casateia, Mareta, Racines di Dentro, Racines di Fuori, Ridanna, Telves and Valgiovo.
