Little River (Seneca River)

Little River (Seneca River)

The Little River flows from headwaters in northern South Carolina into Lake Keowee. It exits via Little River Dam and then joins the Keowee River to form the Seneca River (Savannah River).

The Little River was in the heart of the Cherokee Lower Towns region. Several Cherokee towns were located along the river.
