Travis Nash was a fictional character in Australian soap opera "Home and Away" , played by Nic Testoni from 1995 to 1999.

Character's background

Travis made his first appearance in 1995 as a witness to Laura Bonetti's accident after a game of chicken on the railway tracks with her boyfriend, Curtis Reed, ended in her death. Travis was a Summer Bay resident who had grown up in the town and attended school with local residents Donna Bishop and Rob Storey. He provided support for Curtis when he descended into alcoholism.

Travis rekindled his romance with Donna shortly after she dumped her violent boyfriend, Andrew Warren, and they left for Canada. Several months later, Travis returned after having broken off his engagement with Donna and moved back into his house to find two new tenants, local doctor Kelly Watson and old school friend Steven Matheson.

Travis and Steven competed for Kelly's affection but Travis ultimately won out in the end. Travis stuck by Kelly when she suffered an HIV scare at the hospital after treating an HIV positive patient.

Sometime later, Travis and Kelly became engaged after he asked Kelly's father for her hand in marriage. Soon after, Kelly received a promotion in the city, but realised city life wasn't for Travis, and they parted.

Travis, now alone, rented out his house to Lachlan Fraser (who had replaced Kelly at the hospital) and Jesse McGregor.During this time, he began dating Rebecca Fisher and they later married in a ceremony on the beach.

In 1998, Pippa Ross left Summer Bay and Travis and Rebecca took over the tenancy at the Summer Bay Caravan Park and began looking after Pippa's remaining foster children; Sam Marshall, Tiegan Brook and Justine Welles. This didn't set well with Pippa's adoptive daughter, Sally Fletcher who felt the Nashes were forcing her out of her own home. After coming to an agreement, Sally later moved into Travis' house with Jesse and Vinnie Patterson.

Later that year, Travis' brother Joel, his wife Natalie, and their children Gypsy and Tom, moved to Summer Bay from Hong Kong after Joel took a position at Yabbie Creek Police Station. After an initial frosty meeting, Travis and Joel reconciled. In early 1999, Joel, Natalie and the kids were left homeless after a confrontation with Robert Perez, who had assumed a different identity in order to gain revenge against Joel. Travis and Rebecca invited them to move in.

In late 1999, Travis and Rebecca boarded a tall ship and sailed to Canada, where they reside to this day. In 2002, Rebecca's father Donald, revealed that the couple had had a child, a boy who has not been named to this date.
