Keith Robert Fagan was born
July 14 ,1967 inWhite Plains, New York to Claire Cavallon and Warren Fagan. Raised inHastings-on-Hudson, New York . Fagan attended Hastings Schools from grades K-3, and 7-12, spending grades 4-6 in theNorth Salem, New York School District.After an Athletic career at Hastings which saw him play varsity
football ,basketball andbaseball , serving as captain of the baseball team his senior year, Fagan enrolled atWestern New England College inSpringfield, MA in the fall of 1985. He played on the football team at Western New England, starting all four years, and served as Captain his senior year. After hisfreshman year, Fagan was named to theNew England Football Conference (NEFC)All-Star team atTight End . Fagan led the NEFC in receptions his senior year and was again named to the All-Conference team atWide Receiver , becoming the first non-kicker Golden Bear in school history to be named at two different positions. Fagan was also the first player in school history named to theEastern College Athletic Conference -All-New England Team. After a record-setting career in which he set 13 school records, including most receptions in game (12), consecutive games (33), season (45), and career (124), Fagan graduated with a B.A. inEconomics in 1989. His career receptions total was 8th All-Time inNew England at the conclusion of his career. Mr. Fagan then went to work onWall Street for Cowen & Company tradingNASDAQ stocks . In the fall of 1989, Fagan's Number 21 was retired by Western New England, only the second athlete in school history to be so honored, and the first football player in school history. In 1999, Fagan was inducted into the inaugural class of the Downes AthleticHall of Fame .While working on Wall Street, he created the Sports Department at WHoH-TV, Hastings-on-Hudson's Cable TV Station. The WHoH-TV Sports Department broadcast all Men's
softball and Hastings High School football, basketball, softball, and baseball games. After a 13 year career on Wall Street, in 2002 Fagan switched careers, and is now ateacher atAll Hallows High School in theBronx, New York , as well as a football and basketball coach. Fagan is also the co-founder of www.Section1Recruiting.Com, a fan-based recruiting website, promotinghigh school football players tocolleges , as well as presenting player rankings, team rankings, and previews and predictions of high school football games.Mr. Fagan currently resides in his hometown of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
