Heavy Things

Heavy Things

"Heavy Things" is a 2000 single by American jam band Phish which appears on their album "Farmhouse".

Although it never charted on the Billboard Hot 100, the song is widely considered the band's biggest pop success, Reaching #22 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 and was a minor success on pop radio. It had been a live fixture since early 1999 before it was featured on the group's eleventh album "Farmhouse" in 2000. The success of the song is contributed to its appearance on the December 31, 1999 edition of ABC's World News Tonight and ABC 2000 Today with Peter Jennings, telecast from their Big Cypress event.

"Heavy Things" was first played live September 11, 1999. Its final concert appearance was August 10, 2004 at the group's fifth-to-last show.
