Beer cheese (dip)

Beer cheese is a cheese dip common in Kentucky, but also found in other regions of the United States under a variety of different names. It usually consists of beer, cheddar cheese, and spices. Some varieties are rather spicy, while mild beer cheeses are also common. It is usually served with crackers and crudités, often as an appetizer.
