Volta powerhouses

The Volta Powerhouses are hydroelectric generation plants in Manton, California. Volta Powerhouse I was built in 1901 by Keswick Electric Power Company; Volta Powerhouse II was built in 1980 [http://www.delta.dfg.ca.gov/afrp/documents/BCWC_Strategy.pdf] . Manton locals claim that Volta Powerhouse I is the oldest operational hydro-electric generation plant in California.Fact|date=February 2007
