"Rehearsal for Murder" is a 1982 television movie of the thriller genre directed by David Greene from a script written by Richard Levinson and William Link, who won a 1983 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for their work.

Plot

After his leading lady (and fiancée) commits suicide, Alex Dennison (played by Robert Preston) is left heartbroken and believes she was actually murdered. On the anniversary of her death, he gathers the cast and crew of his last play in an old Broadway theatre in order to find out what really happened that fateful night.
