Kitchen & the Plastic Spoons

Kitchen & the Plastic Spoons were an experimental punk band from Sweden, which formed "by accident" in spring of 1980 [http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2005/02/new_wave_fever.html#comment-10836212] . The group disbanded in November of 1981 [http://www.swedishpunk.com/bands.php?id=301] .

Before disbanding, they released two [singels] and three tracks for compilation albums.

Since disbanding, their songs have become well sought-after by collectors of punk, gothic rock, deathrock and art punk music.

Kitchen & the Plastic Spoons Now

With demand and interest in the band being at the all time high due to the internet, the popularity in the clubs, and recent re release of their material Kitchen and The Plastic Spoons will play super rate reunion gigs. First gig takes place is an exclusive outside of Sweden is at the legendary Drop Dead Festival October 8-12 in Lisbon Portugal. That Festival also features a rare reunion gig by Gothic Punk pioneers UK Decay.Second gig might be at BERNS in Berzeli Park in December, Stockholm Sweden at a big punk festival.
