History

In 1899, angry union miners seized a train in Burke, loaded it with explosives, and delivered their payload to the Bunker Hill mill. Also one of Idaho's most famous pictures of all was taken in Burke, a photograph showing the Train Tracks running through the main road. Another thing is the Burke Fire and Train Wreck 69% of Burke was burned down as a result of the Under Motored Fire trucks coming from Wallace a 10 minute drive by Car. Then the Wreck destroyed much after that which is not in anyway related to the Hijacked train.
