July 27 ,1963 in Moses Lake,Washington ) is a formerAmerican football defensive lineman in theNational Football League . As a player forBrigham Young University , he won theOutland Trophy in 1986. He was taken with the 17th pick of the first round of the1987 NFL Draft by theCincinnati Bengals . He recorded six sacks in the 1988 season as well as in the 1989 season. He moved to theWashington Redskins in 1991. His career there was less accomplished, although he did earn aSuper Bowl ring in the team's 37-24 victory over theBuffalo Bills inSuper Bowl XXVI .He retired after the 1993 season.
Upon retirement Jason Buck began coaching his son's youth football team. He currently serves in leadership positions with his faith. He travels the country as a motivational speaker for different youth conferences. He is referred to by many as "Jason the Mac Truck Buck"
