The school is a public school that serves all of Somerset County. The school offers over twenty different programs, on both a full-time and part-time basis, that combine training in occupational and academic skills.

The High School is part of the Somerset County Vocational and Technical School District, which also includes the Somerset County Technology Institute. As a public school, there is no tuition for high school students who reside in Somerset County.
