EpiCor

EpiCor is a product derived from fermented baker's yeast culture. It was discovered in 2004 after executives of animal feed supplier Diamond V noticed lower sick leave rates and fewer health insurance claims among employees at one of its yeast culture fermentation facilities. The producers espouse it to have antioxidant properties due to a combination of trace elements found including phytosterols and phenolics such as catechins, trans resveratrol, and squalene, along with basic vitamins, minerals, and unsaturated fatty acids.
