Sri Balathandayuthapani swamy temple:There are 3 Lord Ganapathy Shrine and lord Murugan Shrine and lord Manikanda Shrine inside this temple. Mainly, this is the temple of lord Murugan and represents Lord Bala Thandayuthapani of Palani in Tamil Nadu.Idol of BalaThandayuthupani is beautifully encarved and maintained properly by devotees of Thangachimadam. Daily rituals are always performed with much enthusiasm.
Premises of the temple has wonderful ambience containing cocconut trees and cleanly maintained pond.

*Villoondi Thirtham: This "thirtham " is located at Thangachimadam village, according toHindu mythology whenLord Rama andSita went in Pusphak Veemana. On their way fromSri Lanka , Sita felt thirsty. Because there was no way to drink water at that time Rama stuck an arrow in the sea. At once a spring came out from the sea like anartesian well which is very tasty for drinking. There are three springs in the sea, there is also a temple of Lord Rama named Ekantha Ramar Temple.Climate
