parish some 4½ miles northwest of the market town ofAylsham inNorth Norfolk , easternEngland . Itteringham lies in the valley of theRiver Bure that eventually becomes a major part of theNorfolk Broads . The village has a fine gastro-pub, the Walpole Arms [http://www.thewalpolearms.co.uk] and a village shop [http://www.itteringham.com/buildings/shop/shop.html] . The converted watermill [http://www.norfolkmills.co.uk/Watermills/itteringham.html] is also a fine historical feature within the village.The poet George Barker lived in the village and is buried in the churchyard.
