Joshua Jay, born
October 30 ,1981 , inCanton, Ohio , is an American close-up magician. He has won several major awardsfact|date=August 2007 as well as lecturing at many conventions worldwide. He pens a monthly column in "Magic" magazine. His success is mainly due to his unique style of close up magic and nonverbal communication, specializing insleight of hand using ordinary props such as cards, rope, a pocketful of coins, or even a remote control. Joshua graduated from theOhio State University with a degree in English. He is also an alumnus ofSigma Alpha Mu fraternity.TV appearances
