Palace Guard

Palace Guard

"Palace Guard" was a comedy-drama that was briefly broadcast by CBS as part of its 1991 fall lineup. It was produced by Stephen J. Cannell.

"Palace Guard" was the story of a reformed jewel thief, Tommy Logan (D. W. Moffett), who, after serving his sentence, received an offer to become the head of security for the posh Palace Hotel chain. There were two reasons for this somewhat unusual offer. One was that Tommy had enjoyed great success in stealing from the high-class clientele of the Palace chain. Another was that Tommy was secretly the illegitimate son of the chain's head, Arturo Taft (Tony Lo Bianco).

"Palace Guard" was a total failure and was pulled from the CBS lineup after only three episodes had been aired.
