*February 25, 1943: U-86 was attacked and damaged by an unidentified aircraft
*March 11, 1943: Sank the Norwegian ship "Brant County", 5,001 tons
*November 11, 1943: U-86 was reported missing/lost with all hands, while operating in the North Atlantic
