T. Bill Andrews (b. 1958- Hutchinson, Kansas) is an American
abstract impressionist painter andauthor . T. Bill paints impressionisticlandscapes , florals, andfigurative studies, but his primary emphasis is on extremely large-formataction painting in the style ofJackson Pollock .After serving in the U.S. Navy
Nuclear Power Program, he enrolled as an undergraduate member of theUniversity of Iowa Writers' Workshop in the mid-1980s. It was while at the Writers' Workshop that he adopted hisnom de plume "T. Bill" (sometimes "T-Bill," depending on the context). He then attendedYale Law School where he was an editor on theYale Law Journal and summer clerked for the federal court of appeals in New York City and the US Attorney in Connecticut. He wrote a fictionalized memoir of his experience at Yale entitled "Power Ties." His current title is Assistant Iowa Attorney General Thomas William Andrews, where he represents the State of Iowa in federal matters and in state and federal appellate proceedings.His
