"many more"Spiders in the genus "Enoplognatha" are, for theridiids, medium to large sized. Like "
Steatoda ", they have a largecolulus and a subsphericalabdomen . Males usually have enlargedchelicerae .They can be found almost everywhere on earth.
"E. maricopa" is largely red-brown, with a mottled purplish abdomen. They reach a length of 3.4mm in males, and 2.9mm in females. Female "E. peruviana" reach about 6.5mm, female "E. zapfei" even 9.2mm.
