Héctor Gramajo

Héctor Alejandro Gramajo Morales (? - 12 March 2004) was a general in the Guatemalan Army who served as Defense Minister from 1987 to 1990. He also ran unsuccessfully as the Frente de Unidad Nacional's candidate for the presidency in 1995. [http://www.prensalibre.com/especiales/ME/elecciones/tribuna/archivo/11/central.html]

He studied at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government where he obtained a degree in public administration. He was found civilly liable for $47.5 million dollars for having command responsibilty under the Torture Victim Protection Act and Alien Tort Claims Act for the abusing parties.
