Quantifiability

Quantifiability

Quantifiability is the degree to which a thing can be quantified, such as via measurement or precise description in mathematics and science. In anything completely unquantifiable, precise definition is impossible, and any deductions made from such a description are of indeterminate truth.

Quantifiability is important in science because an unquantifiable hypothesis cannot be tested by other people, and thus unquantifiable experimental results can neither be duplicated nor contradicted.
