Nurhay Nakis

Nurhay Nakis was born on 1955 in Sivas, Turkey [ [http://futboldilencileri2007.blogspot.com/2006/08/futbolun-renkli-yzleri-arjantin.html Nurhay Nakis on blogsports.com] ] , from his childhood he has been a soccer fan, in 1971 when an Argentine team came to Turkey to play Beşiktaş J.K., Nakis went to Argentina to become one of the finest people in Argentine soccer, he was nicknamed 'El Turco'. He is also notable to be close friends with Diego Maradona, he first saw Maradona's talent when he got transferred from the youth team, also stars like Saviola and Messi have a strong relationship with Nakis.

35 years have passed and Nakis is still doing a fine job in Argentina, he is given a role at the Argentina football association and the Argentina national football team is under his custody, his vision's are being used to increase the Argentine team, from 1978 to date he won 2 World Cup titles and one time finished as runners-up in 1990. Nakis made clear that the objective for the 2006 World Cup was to at least reach the semi-finals but Argentina failed to achieve that as they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Germany.
