Ryūyō, Shizuoka

Ryūyō, Shizuoka

was a town located in Iwata District, Shizuoka, Japan. On April 1, 2005, Ryūyō merged with several other municipalities to form the new city of Iwata.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 19,746 and a density of 835.99 persons per km². The total area was 23.62 km².
