In
geology , enderbite is primarily anigneous rock of thecharnockite series, consisting essentially ofquartz , antiperthite (orperthite ),orthopyroxene (usuallyhypersthene ) andmagnetite , and is equivalent to an orthopyroxene bearingtonalite . It is named for its occurrence inEnderby Land ,Antarctica .References
