Franklin High School is a public high school located in Franklin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The school mascot is the Saber and the school colors are black and vegas gold.

ports and Activities

A variety of sports and activities are offered at Franklin High School. The athletic teams compete in the Southeast Conference of the WIAA. The Baseball team competes in the Greater Metro Conference.

Notables

*In 2006 the Franklin High School football won the Division 2 state championship. They played Brookfield Central on November 7, 2006 in Camp Randall Stadium on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, putting their record at 14-0. The final score was 36-29. Notable Dates

On October 6th, 2005, Franklin High School recieved an anonymous bomb threat. At approximately 9:45 AM, the fire alarm sounded, and the school was evacuated. Unaware of what was going on, everyone was escorted onto the front lawns. At aproximately 10:45 AM, Principal Michael Cady made an announcement and dismissed everyone home. Busses were provided for transportation, but many upperclassmen had left their car keys inside the building. No one was allowed inside of the building again until 3:00 PM that same afternoon. All afterschool activities continued, and school was in the very next day. The culprit's name was never released to the public.

- On Friday October 20th, 2006, a community member notified the Franklin Police Department of a suspicious person outside of Franklin High School, prompting all 8th hour classes into lockdown procedures at about 1:50 PM. Twenty minutes later, classes resumed to normal activity when the high school administration and the Franklin Police Department deemed the area safe. When classes ended ten minutes later, at 2:20 PM, students took their regularly scheduled busses home.
