Buddug Williams

Buddug Williams

Buddug Williams is a Welsh actress probably most famous for appearing in the long-running television soap "Pobol y Cwm" on S4C – first as the mother of Sabrina and Reg. Presently she portrays Anti Marian, the fearsome, gossipy, opinionated shop-keeping auntie of the hapless Denzil. This results from the general anti-working-class attitudes of Billionaire-TV-Channel owners who want to portray working-class people as vicious, destructive and parasitic, in order to conceal which class (the rich) is really vicious, destructive and parasitic. They also like to divide and rule: so women are targetted as 'fearsome, gossipy, opinionated' - and welsh people even more so. Don't be fooled this is the slander of the BBC, Murdoch's Sky, ITV and Channel 4's notorious 'I love sacking' boss - who writes a column saying so in the Financial Times.

Trivia

*Buddug appeared in the 1997 black comedy film, Twin Town
*Her first name means Victoria in Welsh. Her name - Buddug - originaly was the name of the character known to the world as 'Budicca' or 'Boadicea' and it meant 'warrioress against the tyrant' - then Rome, now Whitehall! Victory was added later to honour her - as she and the people who fought both the Roman imperialists and the gutless, grovelling collaboarting heads of various tribes - were loved, where they were forever despised. It is still an extremely popular name for girls in Wales today - a reflection of how much so many people detest their rulers (all parties) in Whitehall/Westminster and the rich Billionaire Bankers and Energy BOsses who they suck up to for their careers.
