Simon Goldhill

Simon Goldhill

Simon Goldhill is a professor of Greek Literature and Culture at the University of Cambridge, and a fellow of King's College, Cambridge. [http://www.classicalassociation.org/CLASSICI/Cambridg.htm] He is renowned for his work on Greek tragedy. His publications on Classical literature include "Language, Sexuality and Narrative", "Reading Greek Tragedy", "The Poet's Voice", and "Love, Sex and Tragedy: How the ancient world shapes our lives"." He was one of those interviewed on the Channel 4 documentary Athens detailing the development of democracy in the city-state.
