Ellen Cannon Reed

Ellen Cannon Reed (21 March 1943 – 7 October 2003) was the most widely known priestess of the Isian Tradition of Witchcraft. She lived in Southern California and wrote widely (most famously the book "The Witches' Qabalah").She was also the founder of the Internet Relay Chat Channel #witchcraft on Undernet.org network.

She was married to Christopher Reed, with whom she did not have any children. Fact|date=August 2007

Reed was the co-creator of "The Witches Tarot", a widely used tarot deck, with Martin Cannon. She is also the author of several books:

*The Heart of Wicca: Wise Words from a Crone on the Path
*And also a Song book for Pagans : PaganSongs

She died on October 7, 2003 from leukemia.
