Pegaea

Pegaea

In Greek mythology, Pegaea ( _gr. ἡ Πηγαία) was a nymph. She and her sisters (Calliphaeia, Synallasis and Iasis) – the Ionids – dwelled at Elis, and were said to have the power to cure disease. Pegaea is also the singular form of Pegaeae.
