"Take It from the Man!" is the third album by The Brian Jonestown Massacre. It is the second of three critically acclaimed albums released by the band in 1996, following Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request and preceding Thank God For Mental Illness. It was another change of style for the band, with a large influence being 60s garage rock, particularly the early work of The Rolling Stones.

All of the songs were written by Anton Newcombe except "Oh Lord", "B.S.A.", "Cabin Fever" and "In My Life" which were written by Matt Hollywood.

"Dawn" was later re-recorded on the band's first and only album with TVT Records, "Strung Out in Heaven".
