Anna J. Cooper Circle

Anna J. Cooper Circle is a traffic circle and garden park at the intersection of 3rd and T Streets in the LeDroit Park neighborhood of Northwest Washington, D.C. The circle is named for Anna Julia Haywood Cooper (ca. August 10, 1858-February 27, 1964), an author, educator, and one of the most important African American scholars in United States history.
