Alamgir Sheriyar

Alamgir Sheriyar (born 15 November 1973 in Birmingham, Warwickshire) is an English cricket player. He is currently playing for Leicestershire.

Sheriyar has had an impressive career taking over 600 wickets with his fast medium seam bowling. His career has mainly been at Kent and Worcestershire but in 2006 Sheriyar returned to Grace Road, where he started his career.

Alamgir hasn't been given many chances during the 2006 season and was recently told his contract wouldn't be renewed.
