"The Bitch Song" is an early single released by the band Bowling for Soup on their album "Let's Do It for Johnny!" prior to their leap into fame with the song "Girl All the Bad Guys Want".

At a show at the Electric Ballroom (Camden, London), they were continued with their theme of changing curse words for other curse words. For example the word "fuck" was used instead of "shit" and vise-versa. The bitch song was "re-named" The Cunt Song for that night only.

Music video

The band created a music video for this song, in which the band is convicted for some unknown crime and put in jail. There they are forced to wear pink outfits and are treated as "bitches" by their cellmates, one of which is played by US actor Tony Cox. It also shows a relationship with a girl that seems to be equal parts amorous and hostile.
