Mimori Yusa (遊佐 未森 Yusa Mimori?), (born February 20, 1964 in Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture), is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Although she has had a very prolific career, Yusa achieved only minor popularity in Japan until very recently when her song newest song, "Kuro", was featured on the popular NHK television program Minna no Uta from December 2005 until January 2006. Prior to this NHK feature, Yusa was generally perceived as having peculiar lyrics and melody and thus a mass audience eluded her. However, following the NHK feature Yusa's popularity increased significantly and she gained many new fans.
