Aviation Australia is a technical college for trainee aircraft maintenance personnel, as well as cabin crew, located in Brisbane, Australia. In terms of land area, Brisbane Airport is the largest in Australia, as well as the fastest growing. The Aviation Australia Maintenance Training facilities include several aircraft, Including a Boeing 727 Cargo plane and a Fokker F28,a working hangar complete with composites, sheet metal working, avionics, hydraulics and mechanical workshop. Actual aircraft systems and test equipment is also to be found allowing simulated diagnostic tests and maintenance procedures to be performed by students.

The classrooms are fitted with data projectors, laptop docking stations for the instructors, and are air conditioned to provide an optimal environment to learn the theory modules presented. Aviation Australia has recently been CASA approved as a training organisation. This brings in the new era of accreditation meaning that having completed the course, there is no longer a requirement to sit basic exams in order to become licensed.

The facilities are often used by Qantas, Virgin Blue, and Jetstar for training and re-certifying crew in emergency procedures. Additionally, Tiger airways is using Aviation Australia staff and facilities to train their cabin crew, many of whom are to be taken from the graduating or previously graduated cabin crew classes.

Aviation Australia provides training for over 50 airlines and aerospace companies including Qantas, Boeing, Virgin Blue, Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, Gulf Air, Air Pacific plus regulatory authorities from a number of countries in the Asia Pacific. It also operates a training centre in Cairns, Australia and conducts training in Bahrain, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Fiji & Papua New Guinea.
