- Scott Morris
Scott Morris is a former American
mixed martial artist .Morris listed
Ninjutsu as his fighting style, representing Robert Bussey's Warrior International (RBWI) atUFC 2 in 1994. RBWI was actually an organization that served as a vehicle for teaching Bussey's methods. Bussey formally separated himself from ninjutsu in 1989 feeling, appropraitely so, that his unique methods no longer related to the Bujinkan arts he had once endorsed. "Ninjutsu" was simply listed as Morris's art for lack of a more suitable term. In theTournament , he submittedSean Daugherty with a guillotine choke in the first round, but lost toPatrick Smith byKo in theQuarterfinals .Scott Morris was beat up very badly by Patrick Smith, and the knockout was considered the most brutal in UFC history at that time. Morris sustained a series of punches and elbows to the
throat ,mouth andface yet made a full recovery within a few weeks. The match was the reason that UFC implemented several new rules.Ben Perry , the announcer on UFC 2, was famously quoted referring to Scott Morris, "We don't know much about him, because he "is" aninja ."__TOC__
