USS Wood

Two ships in the United States Navy have been named USS "Wood" for Navy Surgeon-General William M. Wood (1809–1880).

* The first USS "Wood" was a "Clemson"-class destroyer, launched in 1919 and decommissioned in 1930.

* The second USS "Wood" was launched in 1943, but renamed "Leedstown" before commissioning.
