Kurt Thomas Abbott (born June 2, 1969 in Zanesville, Ohio) is a former Major League Baseball player who played primarily as an infielder from by|1993-by|2001.

In his Major League career, Abbott played for the Oakland Athletics (1993, by|1998), Florida Marlins (by|1994-by|1997), Colorado Rockies (1998-by|1999), New York Mets (by|2000) and Atlanta Braves (2001). He appeared in the 1997 World Series with the Florida Marlins and the 2000 World Series with the Mets. In by|1995, Abbott hit a career high 17 home runs for the Marlins.
