Troy starred in "Striking Range" alongside Lou Diamond Phillips and Glenn Morshower. He also appeared in the epic CBS mini-series "Comanche Moon", a prequel to the critically acclaimed "Lonesome Dove" series starring Val Kilmer, Steve Zahn and Karl Urban. Troy plays timid and simple "Pea Eye Parker" (played by both Tim Scott and Sam Shepherd in other installments in the series). He has appeared at several Anime/Pop Culture Conventions across the country, including Anime Expo, Otakon, San Diego and New York ComiCon and Anime Boston talking with fans about his roles in Bleach, Trinity Blood, Full Metal Alchemist and other popular anime series. Baker is one of only two actors to have a voice role in the current "Big Four" anime (Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and One Piece). The other is Kyle Hebert

Troy has become a mainstay voice in top video game titles such as the "Brothers In Arms" franchise (as Sgt. Matt Baker), "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures" (as Conan), "Tales of Vesperia" (as Yuri Lowell), Golden Axe (as Axe), "Trauma Center: New Blood" (as Dr. Markus Vaughn) the Ghostbusters Video Game (as Slimer) and several other blockbuster titles.

Before pursuing acting, Troy was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the indie-rock band, Tripp Fontaine. The 4 piece "power pop rock" band enjoyed some success in early 2000 with their radio single "Burning Out" from their debut album "Random Thoughts On A Paper Napkin". The love of music certainly hasn't waned for Troy, as he hopes to have his latest musical collaboration completed in 2009.
